DESCRIPTION:Dry Stone Walling & Artistic Stone Carving\n(stone wall built by Kim Coggin) \nDay 1 (8am–5pm): Stone Carving\nSpend the first day learning traditional and artistic stone carving techniques under the guidance of an experienced instructor. You’ll explore tools\, material selection\, layout\, and carving methods while creating your own carved piece. \nDay 2 (8am–5pm): Dry Stone Walling\nOn the second day\, shift from fine detail to structural craft as you learn the fundamentals of dry stone walling. Instruction covers stone selection\, wall layout\, stability\, and traditional building techniques\, with hands-on construction throughout the day. \nWhat’s Included: \n\nShared breakfast and lunches are included during the workshop.
