Time In for Men

A weekend camp for men who want to escape the city life and learn to build using raw materials and heavy equipment. The camp includes operating a sawmill to turn logs into boards, learning to operate heavy equipment to dig foundations and clear land, and building a large wood trestle windmill that acts as a pump for an off-grid water collection and recycling system.

Halloween Full-Moon Mountain Run (5k/10k)

About

Come run the hills by the light of the moon! This run takes place as the full moon rises over the Blue Ridge Mountains. The course will take you across moon-lit meadows, through deep forests illuminated by flaming torches, and along the bank of a shining pond.

All proceeds go to Rockbridge Creative Institute, a new school for the common creative arts.

This is a true moonlight and torchlight run. Please do not use white flashlights, as they affect the night vision of others. Red lights are permitted, but shouldn’t be needed.

A professional photographer will be taking photos, which will be made available for participants to purchase.
